Kettle Rustic Home Rendering

I am hopeful that you can appreciate the amount of detail in this architectural rendering. Few architectural illustrators, like myself, will take the time to align all the wood grains to the orientation of the wood boards. My 3D models are purpose-built, meaning I model with the end in mind. Instead of window trim being an extruded rectangle, I model each part so I can orientate the wood grain properly. It is the little things that sometimes seem insignificant, then bring an architectural rendering over the top.

3D Gutter illustrations

The range of projects I get to work on are cool, and I feel blessed to have such a broad range of work. From large houses to small houses, large commercial projects and small commercial projects. I have worked on furniture manufacturer ’ virtual displays, medical equipments, and this project, for gutters.

For this project, I was given a list of tree debris, like leaves, acorns, helicopters, and several other things that fall from trees. The company requested a ranch house, a bi-level house, and a two-story house. From Spring, to Summer, and Fall, to show the different seasons. The premise is, these gutters have caps to keep the debris from clogging the gutters, but let the water run freely. I hope these showed them well.

1953 Clark Street Rendering

Investing in an architectural rendering has now become normal, on most projects. From large multi-unit developments to single family small homes, like the 1953 Clark Street Rendering. It takes far more than a 2D floor plan and 2D elevations, and even more than a poorly developed rendering, rendered as a by-product of your CAD software. In today’s times, it takes someone with experience to build and render a rendering that is effective in selling a property. Even a small project, like this one, takes many hours to create, with a lot of back and forth, tweaking and testing. To get it right takes time. Building an accurate model, creating realistic colors and materials, and composing it. Put on a lot of hats and be good at all of them.

  • Professional 3D model maker

  • Keen eye for colors and materials

  • Understand art and color theory

  • Control composition

  • Even being a seasoned photographer

Wilken's Desert House Rendering

I love…love…love the Wilken’s desert house rendering. When I first received it, I knew it had its challenges, and I was prepared. I try to know how my images will look before I start, with sketches, but this one was a challenge, and I am ecstatic about how it turned out.

Sagamore Development Renderings

Sometimes people come to me with a long list of wishes and a small budget. I think it is natural to try to get more-for-less, so I don’t take offense, but my reply is usually to pair down the number of views to better meet their budget. The Sagamore Development project had more desired images, but I only did the front elevation of the single family and duplex to stay within the budget.

Riverside Drive Rendering

What a fun project with a fun client. The interior went through some iterations, but the exterior was hit out of the park on the first try.

Stately Residence Rendering

I thought I would bring you along for the ride on the Stately Residence train. First, I build the 3D model, using the project CAD files. I post these gray scale proofs to verify that the model is accurate. Here is what a 3D gray-scale proof looks like.

Choto Townhouse Development

Rush projects I usually avoid. Could you tell me why? Because they are usually rushed for a reason. Usually they are ill prepared, sloppy and incomplete documents, and a bad idea to get involved with. Also, typically, these rush projects have a misleading deadline. I worked hard to finish a project on a certain date, but then the deadline gets extended because of new information. This happened so often, I address it in my contract.

The renderings for the Choto Townhouse Development went extremely smooth. The documents were accurate, the breif was clear, and the project deadline didn’t move.

There is a ton of work on a project like this. From the actual structures, to the site plan, and then long rendering times. With a limited time to complete a project of this size and complexity, I think I pulled it off well.

9-Miller House Rendering

Here, please find the latest renderings for the 9-Miller house. I really like the idea of a breezeway. So many houses have the garages as a focal point of a house, especially an American house, and a breezeway is a nice way to separate the two spaces.

The white washed cedar shakes and black roof, windows, and trim are also very attractive. Pool, pool house, and a large yard. What is there not to like about this house?
