Buckingham Mansion Rendering

The Buckingham Mansion Rendering in print publication, which is exciting to me. I have had several of my projects printed up in magazines, for both online and print.

The aim with the Buckingham Mansion Rendering was to impress with landscape. The landscape part of the rendering was critical for the architect. Although I removed more vegetation than I added, to not obscure features of the house, I think it turned out wonderful.

The architect chose the views, so if these don’t look as composed as my other work, that is why. Also, the white fluffy clouds were required by the architect, which isn’t my style, but they look fine to me.

Twilight version to follow, so please stay tuned.

Double Day House Rendering

Here is another architectural rendering whose sole purpose is to live on a construction sign. Once I print the rendering, mount it, and put it on a sign, I’ll ask the builder to snap a photo and I’ll share, so stay tuned.

Battlewood House Rendering

My clientele is a mixture of architects, developers, real estate agents, home builders, home plan designers, homeowners, and contractors.

The Battlewood House Rendering was created for a site construction sign, which is been a recent trend. I believe i have done 1/2 a dozen construction sign renderings over the past two months. I love it when they send me a photo of the sign, after they erected it.

Battlewood House Rendering

The Battlewood House Rendering is a little unique, in there wasn’t a site plan, or landscape plan, and they were not too concerned showing anything. Their primary interest was something quick so they can make the sign.

9609 Georgetown Pike Rendering

What a grand house, the 9609 Georgetown Pike house. Cedar Shake has become pretty common over the years, and I can see why, it is a beautiful material. I’ll have to say, a good percentage of the houses I illustrate are cedar shake with white trim. Hey, if it works, you keep doing it. It is timeless, so I think it’ll be around for a long time.

Quarter Desk Resort Renderings

Time for my clients’ quarterly Q1 meeting and they need some eye-candy, which is where I come in. These interior renderings are for a new project that they are getting ready to break ground on once their ground thaws out, that is.

I enjoy the warm tones. Wood and stone are always a favorite of mine. I hope these renderings create the splash that they are after.

AirBnB Rendering - Turnbuckle Ranch

Another great use for an architectural rendering… list it long before you can take photos of it, with some professionally create renderings

This project was a challenge. Typically, I work from a set of architectural renderings, but with the Turnbuckle Ranch renderings, I didn’t have that luxury. Below is an example of what I received.

No problem, I was up for the challenge. I am also happy to help someone reach their objective, which was to get their ranch on AirBnB before construction is done, and before the season starts.

Peavy House Rendering

Another magnificent house from a talented designer. Modern homes are not my thing, I am more of a traditional guy, but after seeing the Peavy House Rendering, I can like the modern home. The pool design is insane!

Underhill Road Renderings

Welcome to the virtual Underhill development. There are a series of eleven homes and for each home, there is an elevation and perspective. The project also included a few “hero” shots, which I think help tell the story. When I am initially contacted by a potential client, I send out a questionnaire, which asks questions so i can help tell the story. Project budgets are important, but telling the story is also important. I think “hero” shots are a great way to tell that story in a way an overall image just can’t do. I mean, would you really know that there is a lower level entrance if you did not have the ‘hero’ shot of a man walking down the stairs? Would you know the porches were designed on each house to be part of the community, or would you know it was a family community without seeing kids playing?

I employed a few new techniques on these (always looking for ways to improve). if you notice, there are things in every window. It is very subtle, but gives the windows depth. Also, I warped the glass, to give it more interest, with a subtle boost of blue in the window tint.

Another grand project from a blue chip client.

Kennedy House Renderings

Cute little house. I have always wanted a metal roof; maybe this is the one! What more can you ask for? Metal roof, wrap-around porch, white board and batten; checks all the boxes.

515 East Washington Street House Renderings

When this referral client reached out to me about this house, I got excited. I am a huge fan of architecture, and a house like this gets my blood flowing.

I request AutoCAD files, since I prefer starting with those, but sometimes those are not available. Here, they were not, and I received a SketchUp model. There are obstacles starting with people’s model that I have mentioned before, and this one was a booger. I spent about twice the time cleaning up flipped normals, double geometry, and all other kinds of bad geometry than modeling from CAD files. I am a pretty calm person, and it takes a lot to get me mad. I can’t tell you how many times I yelled to myself that I’ll never take someone’s model ever again! This wasn’t my clients’ model, it was the architects.

I think these turned out wonderfully, and I hope you agree; my client did!

FANTASTIC WORK! Thank you Bobby
