“I can’t tell you how impressed I am with the level/quality of your work. You are a true master of your craft.”
Being Valentine's and my wedding anniversary week, this was an appropriate project to be current;y working on. It will be a beautiful venue, so I hope these architectural renderings do it justice.

Pre-Sale Architectural Renderings
Selling a house with 2d floor plans and elevations are a mistake! Although it takes a lot of work to create a good interior rendering, they are well worth the effort. Remember, some of us look at plans all day, but the majority of people have never had too.

Being in upper Minnesota, in the middle of February, it was nice to work on a summer Florida architectural rendering. I tried to create a warm set of images, which I hope I accomplished

2585 2-Story House Rendering
2585 2-Story House Rendering. Not the best name for a project, but that is what I was given. This was a fun project. I do interior renderings, but not as many interior renderings as exterior renderings; nearly 10-1. I really enjoyed this one because one, it was for an old co-worker and two, I had total freedom on most everything. Anyway, enjoy and as usual, comments are welcome.

Kirkpatrick Apartment Renderings
These architectural renderings were prepared, by me of course, for the architects meeting with the city. From the uneven site, complicated road pavers, and the massive amount of shrubs, there were several challenges. However, the process went well and I wish the architect luck with the their meeting.
“Everyone LOVED IT! The renderings made all the difference!”

2016 In Review
A few of my favorite 2016 projects. Over the year I have completed dozens of architectural rendering projects and all were enjoyable, however, these few stand out to me as my favorites.

Exploring Drafting, 12th Edition
15 minutes of fame! About a year ago the Goodheart-Willcox Co., Inc company approached me about having some of my work being used in their latest CAD textbook, which is called Exploring Drafting, 12th Edition. I was glad to provide a few architectural renderings and here is one of the pages in their Exploring Drafting, 12th Edition textbook, using one of my architectural renderings.

The Bullock Residence
This is was a pleasant project to work on. I had a drop-dead deadline, which I committed to, but colors and materials got to me kind of late. Nevertheless, I worked all weekend and pulled all-nighters, and met the dead-line. I really enjoy my job and it really isn't a sacrifice, other than time away from the family, but having a studio out of the house helps a lot with that.
“Great work on the rendering! It looks amazing. You are so gifted at what you do. I’ll definitely pass along your name to my other clients. Thanks for the extra work you put in on this one.”

New York Mansion Rendering
These mansion renderings , that I have been creating, are really some of my favorites. Once I receive the brief and CAD drawings, I build the model, which usually takes 2-3 days and then I render out some gray-scale proofs. Once the proofs are approved, I start adding colors and materials, and I then send off low-resolution proofs. During both the gray-scale and color proofs, the design is usually messaged; once you see the renderings, you have time to really take in the architecture and make changes that you didn't know needed to be made. Environment and composition is my favorite part and once everything is approved, I render out 4K high-resolution finals.

The developer, of this Nashville, TN apartment renderings, wanted it to look urban. The surrounding houses and the electrical wires were used to do that very thing, make it look like an urban area.

Client Referrals
Once in a while, a potential client asks for referrals; I am surprised it isn't more often. The other day I got a call from an Architect looking for some architectural renderings. After receiving the brief, this potential client asked for some referrals. I was happy to give a list of some of my recent clients and once the clients were contacted, I received this email.
“Thank you for checking back in. I must warn you, your references told me not to use you… because they didn’t want you to get too busy! Aside from that, they had very complimentary things to say about you and your work!”
There isn't anything more pleasing then to hear that you are treating your clients right.

11 Exeter Street Interior Renderings
Here, the designer is responsible for all architecture and branding of the building. The designer needs renderings for pre-sell purposes. The renderings will be used on the building's website and in marketing materials. The purpose of the renderings is to give buyers a realistic idea of the level of finishes and size of the units.
