First and foremost, the essential things in my life, aside from my God, are my family. Currently, I live and work in San Diego, CA. I am married to Joni Lykens Parker (my soulmate); Benjamin and Emma are my two adorable kids.

Aside from my immediate family, I have a church family at Saddleback Church in San Diego, CA.

Joni and I have been married for 20 years. After meeting online, which at the time was crazy, we married after a year of dating. Joni lived in Hackensack, MN, and I lived and worked in Chicago, IL. Although Joni lived in MN, she is from Illinois, too. After marrying, I moved Joni to Illinois; however, she didn't like it. Being a wise man, I drove her back to MN a year later, and we lived there for 18 years. MN never felt like home to me; Chicago will always be home. CA, on the other hand, I am enjoying it.

Benjamin (19) was our first and has always been exceptional. Ben is brilliant and has a memory unlike I have ever seen. From the population of all the states to most major cities, he knows them all. Ben enjoys cooking and watching crime shows.

Emma (17) is my princess, AKA Princess Pretty. Emma loves animals and, most of all, her daddy. Emma is a sandwich artist, best in class, and is planning for College the following Fall. Like her brother, Emma is very bright, always doing well in school, and good at making friends.
