Gray-scale rendering…

A gray-scale or cardboard rendering, a 3D model devoid of textures and materials, is a straightforward and practical starting point. The absence of colors and materials in this rendering makes changes more manageable. It doesn't concern itself with lighting or composition but focuses on ensuring the model's accuracy.

Gray-scale rendering has proven to be a reliable tool in my projects, especially when dealing with incorrect drawing files at the start. It allows us to catch such mistakes early, providing a sense of security and reliability.

Gray-scale rendering, by not depicting the site or environment, offers a flexible solution. In the event of changes to the building footprint, the most complex part, the site, and environment, don't need to be rebuilt. This flexibility can be a relief in complex projects.
